Pakistan sends 13th consignment of aid for people of Gaza, Lebanon

 

On October 27, 2024, Pakistan delivered its 13th consignment of humanitarian aid to the war-affected populations of Gaza and Lebanon, comprising 100 tons of winterized tents and blankets. This shipment, coordinated by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) under the guidance of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, represents a significant contribution to ongoing relief efforts. The ceremony held at Islamabad International Airport was attended by various officials, including the Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan, who expressed profound gratitude for Pakistan's steadfast support. With this latest delivery, the total aid dispatched to these regions has reached 1,381 tons, underscoring Pakistan's commitment to assisting those in need amid the ongoing conflict. The ambassador highlighted that this aid not only provides essential supplies but also conveys a powerful message of compassion and solidarity between the nations.
